Wire Splice Techniques

In our electrical projects, the majority of wire splices consist of soldered joints protected by marine-grade heat shrink. This method guarantees a strong electrical connection along with a sealed covering resistant to moisture.

For situations where soldering is not feasible, we opt for non-insulated butt-connectors paired with marine-grade heat shrink to achieve a durable electrical connection with a moisture-resistant seal.

We strictly refrain from using nylon or vinyl-insulated butt-connectors and home electrical wire nuts in any of our projects

In cases involving radio or speaker connections, we rely on Closed-End Crimp Terminals commonly utilized in the audio industry. If this type of connection does not suit your needs, we also offer optional Molex Connectors.
