Labor Hours
Due to the unique characteristics of each classic vehicle, repair labor time can vary.
For a complete wiring harness replacement, the typical labor time is as follows:
-
Most vehicles require 35–45 labor hours.
-
Large and luxury vehicles, such as but not limited to Cadillac, Lincoln, Chrysler, Buick, and Oldsmobile, are billed strictly by the hour due to their size and complexity.
-
Modified or Custom Vehicles: Additional time may be necessary.
-
Factors such as rust, previous modifications, or subpar earlier wiring repairs can also increase the total labor time required.
Investment Overview
-
Electrical labor is billed hourly.
-
Engineering & Design: Vehicles without a stock or reproduction harness may require custom electrical engineering, a fee of $900.00 (non-refundable). Engineering fees are billed separately from installation labor.
